About the founder

Ritty Thomas is a psychologist and Expressive Arts practitioner based in Germany.

With a background in psychology and a growing specialisation in Expressive Arts, Ritty is interested in creating accessible, culturally sensitive spaces for emotional wellbeing and self-expression.

Living abroad has also given her a personal understanding of some of the challenges people can face when looking for mental-health support outside their home country, including language, cultural differences, availability and finding someone they feel comfortable with.

This experience inspired the idea behind Ritam: to make it easier for people living abroad to connect with qualified professionals and trained Expressive Arts practitioners from India, while also providing access to creative wellbeing sessions and workshops.
