Privacy policy
Ritam (operated by [company name], [registered address], India) connects clients with independent mental-health professionals. This policy explains what we store and why.
What we collect
- Clients: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), time zone, optional phone, and your bookings.
- Professionals: profile details, qualifications, registration numbers and uploaded credential documents.
- Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
Health-related data
The fact that you book sessions with a mental-health professional is health-related data (Art. 9 GDPR). We process it only with your explicit consent, given when you sign up, and only to arrange your sessions. We do not store diagnoses or session notes. What you discuss in a session stays between you and your professional.
Where your data is stored
On Google Cloud servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Your professional sees your name, session time and any note you add when booking.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, without your name.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Delete your account in Account settings, or email ritamberlin@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
